Klay Thompson’s journey with the Dallas Mavericks has begun with a resounding impact.
In his first game since leaving the Golden State Warriors, Thompson hit six three-pointers, contributing to the Mavericks’ 120–109 win against the San Antonio Spurs on Thursday night. This marked the first time a player has made at least six three-point shots in their debut game for the Mavericks.
During a postgame interview with TNT’s Allie LaForce, Thompson was informed about his new record.
“Oh really?” he responded, followed by clapping and exclaiming “Yes!” into the camera.
