The future of Kevin Durant with the Phoenix Suns is the subject of widespread speculation.

As the NBA Finals approach their conclusion and the NBA draft looms on the horizon next week, the key issue remains unresolved.

The Suns are reportedly keen to trade Durant, who has expressed a preference to play for Houston, Miami, or San Antonio.

Meanwhile, the Minnesota Timberwolves are interested in bringing Durant on board to join forces with their rising star, Anthony Edwards. However, Durant seems uninterested in moving to Minneapolis, as per a recent report by Matt Moore from Hardwood Paroxysm.

Moore has reported that “League sources have indicated the Nets were considered as a possible third-party in a transaction framework [between Phoenix and Minnesota], which would have facilitated the redistribution of finances and contracts to aid in the restructuring of both teams. …However, KD exercised his rights and made it clear that he is not interested in that arrangement.”

Significant developments would need to occur swiftly for Durant to consider Minnesota a viable option. It seems unlikely at this point.
