Karl-Anthony Towns has clinched his position in the upcoming NBA All-Star Game, yet he continues to support his teammates.

Following a rousing 143–106 victory against the Memphis Grizzlies, the Knicks’ center, Towns, vocally endorsed his teammate Josh Hart, humorously promoting him for an All-Star selection.

“I’m aiming to disrupt his entire break,” KAT shared with journalists. “I want him right there with us on the court. He said he wants to put his toes in the sand? That’s not happening.”

Once the laughter subsided, Towns lavished his teammate with substantial compliments.

“Josh Hart is truly the heart and soul of this team,” Towns pronounced. “It delights me that the stats reflect his effort, yet he contributes in so many other invaluable ways.”

Both Towns and his teammate Jalen Brunson have been selected as starters for the All-Star Game last week, and the complete rosters, as chosen by NBA coaches, will be announced this Thursday.

With averages of 14.1 points, a career-high 9.8 rebounds, and 5.7 assists per game, Hart’s performance extends well beyond mere statistics, significantly impacting the Knicks, who stand third in the Eastern Conference with a 31–16 record.

If selected, this would be Hart’s inaugural appearance in an All-Star Game.
