Jrue Holiday is determined to defend his reputation—and his internet connection.

After his new teammate and former trade counterpart Damian Lillard made a comment about the subpar wifi at Holiday’s home in Milwaukee—which Lillard had been renting during his time with the Bucks—Holiday took the opportunity at the end of his introductory press conference on Wednesday to set the record straight.

Responding to a question about former Blazers he wished to see back on the team, Holiday, as he was about to exit the room, humorously added, “And my wifi wasn’t that bad.”

And that’s the final word on that matter.

Most recently, Holiday was with the Boston Celtics for two seasons, having moved from the Bucks as part of the 2023 trade that brought Lillard to Milwaukee. Last season, he posted averages of 11.1 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 3.9 assists per game. He was transferred to the Blazers in late June.
