Although Grant Williams, the forward for the Charlotte Hornets, won’t be playing this NBA season due to injury, he’s fully participating in the festive season’s spirit of giving.

The 26-year-old basketball player is currently recuperating from a surgery for a torn ACL. Despite his condition, Williams showed his generosity by presenting the Hornets’ front office staff with new Beis luggage as Christmas gifts, as revealed in a post on his Instagram last Wednesday.

“I’ve been doing this since my rookie year, giving gifts during the holiday season,” Williams explained about his kind act. “Often as players, we overlook the extensive work required to manage an organization daily. While we typically recognize our training or strength staff who interact with us directly, numerous others work behind the scenes contributing significantly. I just want to express my gratitude to them. It’s the season for holidays, and what better way to celebrate than gifting something useful like luggage for travel!”

Williams faced this injury in late November during a match against the Milwaukee Bucks. At that time, he was recording an average of 10.4 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game. This season marked his sixth year in the NBA, following stints with the Dallas Mavericks and the Boston Celtics.
