Milwaukee Bucks standout Damian Lillard has successfully overcome a serious deep vein thrombosis condition in his calf and is no longer on anticoagulant medications, as reported by ESPN’s Shams Charania.

Having been sidelined since March 18th due to the clot, Lillard’s swift resolution of the condition in just three weeks marks an exceptional case of recovery. Medical professionals attending to him have highlighted his recovery as unprecedented, citing it as a clear demonstration of the benefits of prompt treatment, early detection, and the expert intervention he received prior to his official diagnosis.

While Lillard will not participate in Game 1 of Milwaukee’s upcoming first-round playoff series against the Indiana Pacers, which kicks off this Saturday, he is slated to make a comeback following an increase in his basketball-related activities that began earlier this week.

Over the course of 58 games this season, Lillard has maintained an average of 24.9 points, 7.1 assists, and 4.7 rebounds per game, shooting at a 44.8% success rate from the field.
