Stephen Curry, the renowned guard of the Golden State Warriors, will not participate in the upcoming game against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday evening due to knee discomfort.

Curry’s knee issues, specifically bursitis in his left knee, have been noted previously on several injury reports, although he has managed to play through the pain until this point. Earlier in the season, he was sidelined for three games due to an ankle injury.

The game on Wednesday is crucial for the standings in the Western Conference. Currently, the Thunder are in the lead with a 13-4 record, while the Warriors are close behind with a 12-5 record. A victory for Golden State could propel them to the top of the conference.

Winning this important match will be more challenging without Curry, who is the team’s top scorer averaging 22.4 points per game. Additionally, he leads the Warriors with an average of 6.5 assists per game and has been exceptional from the three-point line, hitting 4.3 three-pointers per game with an accuracy of 44.4%.

There is a good chance that Curry will return for the Friday game against the Phoenix Suns.
