@  Dayak : (29 November 2014 - 01:29 AM) Canaan's ballin'. Canaanball!!! Woohoo
@  rocketrick : (28 November 2014 - 03:46 PM) As a NBA fan, looking forward to seeing the Clips battle the Rockets. Not the same situation now as later, but an indication in my view. Just happy to see a quality game over the Thanksgiving weekend 2014
@  SadLakerFan : (27 November 2014 - 05:00 AM) Another brutal game from CP. Mavs somehow win despite going 4-31 from three-pt range.
@  jorgeaam : (27 November 2014 - 02:48 AM) So hack-a-Dorsey because Howard is not playing?
@  jorgeaam : (27 November 2014 - 01:30 AM) Hahaha, let's hope they don't
@  Dayak : (27 November 2014 - 01:20 AM) They have to find a way to stop Harden either
@  jorgeaam : (26 November 2014 - 08:24 PM) No Howard or Bev tonight, let's hope we find a way to stop Boogie
@  cointurtlemoose : (25 November 2014 - 03:13 AM) Harden is beasting
@  kdo : (24 November 2014 - 01:19 AM) Sigh...Howard's out...
@  Mario Pena (... : (23 November 2014 - 03:58 AM) Talk about surviving on defense and Harden delivering! Rockets beat the Mavs!
@  jorgeaam : (23 November 2014 - 03:44 AM) Yes! Nice win today
@  jorgeaam : (23 November 2014 - 03:37 AM) It's quite satisfactory to see Harden get an And-One against Parsons
@  jorgeaam : (23 November 2014 - 03:13 AM) Most three-point field-goal attempts, game
49-Dallas vs. New Jersey, March 5, 1996

Houston has 44 so far
@  jorgeaam : (23 November 2014 - 03:12 AM) WOW, 75 combined 3PA so far, NBA record for Most three-point field-goal attempts, both teams, game was 69
@  jorgeaam : (23 November 2014 - 01:51 AM) We're on pace to break the 3pm in a game record, 12 already with 6 min remaining in first half
@  jorgeaam : (23 November 2014 - 01:48 AM) Insane 3 point shooting so far
@  Mario Pena (... : (23 November 2014 - 12:22 AM) Big man down, I repeat the big man is down! http://blog.chron.co...nee/#27967101=0
@  jorgeaam : (21 November 2014 - 10:07 PM) My bad, it's good to learn that, thanks for the input :D
@  Mario Pena (... : (21 November 2014 - 05:26 PM) jorgeaam, it's called self deprecation. It doesn't mean he's ok with people making jokes rather it's a sign of having a sense of humour regarding his defense and hthe hoopla surrounding it. On the court he has clearly shown he is not ok with the ridicule.
@  rocketrick : (21 November 2014 - 03:10 PM) Harden OK with people joking about his D?? Hello---did anyone bother to watch the game the otber night? I guess it's kinda like calling the kettle black at this point, WTF......

Hello guys, I'm here hoping to get some help, and discuss with other forum members, about DMO.

Here in my country (Lithuania, and DMO is from Lithuania) press and basketball fans already calls Donatas a bust, because he didn't played as we hope he had to in our national team, and the NBA stats is a bit strange, he gets 20~ minutes this season, and averages 5points a game and misses all the 3pts this season. Then i decaded to watch one game where he played 31minutes (record i think) and i just was impressed by the way he plays. He hustles, tries to get the ball in various situations in all ends of the floor. So what do you think about this young player? Will he be future starting five player? What can you say about all of his games, because i watched only one. need to get some information. Also my video about the last game.

Motiejunas is one of my favorite Rockets. I like that he is getting more playing time and that he's doing well with those minutes. Point totals are expected to stay low when playing with stars like Harden and Howard, especially in a system that focuses so much on threes. I'd love to see his 3-pointer percentage go up some, but he's making the hustle plays and holding his own on defense, which is what the Rockets need from him.

I do hope he continues to progress and improve, but I definitely do not consider him a bust. I think he has a chance to end up as a Rockets' starter, or possibly be traded to a team where he would start, but I'd like to see Houston upgrade at the four and have D-Mo as a back-up to the power forward/center spots, though he may end up overqualified for that role.

I honestly think he will be a starter at sometime in his careerin the NBA, whether it is with Houston or someone else, that is to be seen. He currently is behind another young player at the 4, and the best C in the game at the 5. But to be the third big man in a three big man rotation (thinking about the playoffs) on a championship caliber team would help show what kinda player he is. Did he have a bad FIBA tournament, yes, but the Olympics are less then two years away to help show the Lithuanian people his growth as a player in his home country's colors.

Welcome to our forum. We will gladly talk to you about your countryman, and hopefully be able to get you in Rockets' Red as well. Toronto sucks. You don't want to follow them.

Dmo is definitely a defensive and energy guy first which is weird when you see his obvious skill sets like post game and jump shooting, you would assume he's an offensive player mainly.

Unfortunately the Rockets employ a 3's and layups, only, philosophy in their offense, and again, unfortunately, Motie has yet to find his 3 point stroke in the NBA. Once he's able to prove himself a threat from deep it will open up his entire offensive game. I wouldn't mind McHale creating an exception to the rule and allow Dmo to shoot from a step or two inside the arc. He has done really well for us though on the defensive side of the ball and is one of the favorites among Rockets fans.

I'm also hoping for an increase in the D-Mo-for-3-mo's. He got some open looks for 3 last night since the Thunder weren't respecting that shot, but he wasn't able to make them. If he could have knocked those down, I think the game could have been very different, since the Thunder would have had to space out some more. The greater our ability to open up the paint while retaining D-Mo's size, the less likely H&H will get shut down so much like they did last night.
