With less than a week to go for the season to start, and all of us trying to figure out who was going to be the odd man out (Dorsey,Black, Adrien) Morey just went and claimed Earl Clark of waivers, any comments about this?

we also signed some pg guy today and let geruad johnson go. Again, i don't think this moves the needle, but it might have more impact on the ish/canaan grouping imho then earl clark on tj, dmo, etc.
guys name is akeem richmond, i know nothing about him: here's the article:

The idea of getting these players to the vipers is any young or undrafted players the rockets might have looked at can now be groomed and tested in their own development team and basketball systems to see if they can become decent role players down the road. Like Daniels who was a success, Covington who has the potential, but failed to do anything with it, and quite a few failures over the years. However if you can get a Daniels gem every couple to few years, I would call that a success and key to building a stable and deep team. I'm glad we're a team ahead of the curve with this minor league like system.

I liked Clark with the Lakers. He was usually very reliable, especially on D. However, his career has spiraled downwards since moving on to the Cavs. I think he will be kept on the roster for the regular season.
This was my last post since May when Lillard hit the buzzer!
