@  Mario Peña : (10 October 2015 - 01:12 PM) If your part if the Red94 Fantasy Basketball League check the thread to vote for the date and time for the draft event. Thanks y'all!
@  jorgeaam : (07 October 2015 - 08:47 PM) Guys we need 1 more owner for the Red94 fantasy league, if interested please comment on the post in the fantasy basketball thread
@  slick shoes : (07 October 2015 - 06:50 PM) Kobe ranked one spot higher than Ariza? Is this based on legacy or...??
@  slick shoes : (07 October 2015 - 04:13 PM) It was hard to keep up with both the Astros and Rockets at the same time. Should be interesting on Thursday with the Texans and Astros on simultaneously.
@  Mario Peña : (07 October 2015 - 04:09 PM) It was fun to have the Rockets on last night! Right now I'm watching the Celtics versus Milan and Alessandro Gentile is impressive.
@  jorgeaam : (06 October 2015 - 07:47 PM) Well, thinking twice about it, I'd rather have him score less and have the team as a whole do better. Lawson should take a lot of his load off
@  jorgeaam : (06 October 2015 - 07:47 PM) Loving that, hope he hits 30 PPG this year
@  thejohnnygold : (06 October 2015 - 06:15 PM) Someone is feeling confident :) : LINK
@  jorgeaam : (06 October 2015 - 05:54 PM) 10 Teams done, will need 2 more
@  Mario Peña : (06 October 2015 - 02:35 PM) Alright guys, if anyone is interested in joining the Red94 fantasy basketball league we could use one more player to get us to 10 teams (or three to get us to 12 teams). Just check the thread in the Fantasy Basketball forum. Thanks!
@  thejohnnygold : (05 October 2015 - 06:23 PM) I use leaguepass here in Austin with no problems...
@  skip 2 my lou : (05 October 2015 - 03:14 PM) Hey fellas, I'm a rocket fan but I live in the heart of Dallas. Does anybody know if I buy NBA Leaguepass if it's too close to be subject to blackouts?
@  Losthief : (02 October 2015 - 02:24 AM) tks jg
@  thejohnnygold : (29 September 2015 - 05:16 AM) FYI, it was media day today. Interviews are up at NBA.com
@  slick shoes : (23 September 2015 - 06:37 PM) kind of late in the day but NBATV is broadcasting classis Rockets games all day today.
@  SadLakerFan : (16 September 2015 - 04:37 AM) Man, as a Laker fan, I'm learning how little you care about the off season when your team sucks. Anyway, a quick moment to remember Moses. Still remember watching the 81 team as a kid - losing record, NBA Finals. I would have cried w/joy if they could have beaten the Celtics.
@  jorgeaam : (15 September 2015 - 08:30 PM) http://bleacherrepor...ist-after-crash
@  jorgeaam : (15 September 2015 - 08:30 PM) So to celebrate his new contract, Montrezl Harrell saved someone's life on monday
@  thejohnnygold : (14 September 2015 - 04:36 PM) A good article from Blinebury talking about when Hakeem and Moses used to play in the park. LINK
@  rockets best... : (14 September 2015 - 02:29 AM) I agree totally. I got to watch his Rocket days and the man was a hell of a player. BIG MO R.I.P.

Jesus, I feel like I'm watching Dawson's creek. Stop acting like such little bitches, were here to talk about basketball and voice our opinions and sure even get a little heated about it but there is absolutely no reason to make the attacts so drawn out and personal. We don't need your bleeding vaginas derailing all the threads. But so and so doesn't agree with me waaaaah, get over it. P.s. attacking grammar on a forum like this is just absurd

This is just a sincere request for this forum not to turn into something similar to another forum not to be named (rhymes with DutchFans). We've had such civilized discourse as far as I've been reading the forum, I would really hate for it to become less than it is.

Let's keep our discussions on topic. If you guys want to go back and forth and bicker, exchange email addresses or something. Arguments related to the Rockets are great, but we don't need to attack each other.

Sorry everyone for my whining. I would prefer to talk about the Rockets than bicker about nonsense. Im secure enough in myself to not care about that crap, but have always had a need to argue. Dan G thx about my place. Im fine with the current neighborhood and my 400,000 dollar investment that's no worth over 600,000. Ive put a tampon over my bleeding vagina and am ready to talk ball.

    1. Howard seems like he will be sticking with Orlando for a bit. He is a great player, but I would like to see the Rockets evaluate their current talent before making a splash at him.
    2. I could see some value in next years draft along with the rockets having a large amount of cap space to go after some star talent. I believe with a good mixture of our current youth and another few key signings like we had this year, we could prapel ourselves as one of the elite teams in the league. Kobe says he might hang it up soon and when the Spurs lose Timmy, they will not be as dominant as they currently are. In my estimates, if we play through the year, let our rookies and young players grow and develop, draft well and hit free agency with a large amount of cap space, we could head into that season looking like a legit top 5 contender in the West. OKC will still be the best team, but will lose Harden to FA (maybe a good signing for us at the SG (after Martin is gone) and Personally I like where the TWolves are heading with Love, Rubio and the slew of talent around them.

Where? It's crystal clear next year's draft may be one of the worst all time drafts

Harden will stay with OKC, he's not going anywhere
No star is going to sign with the Rockets, I don't know why everyone can't just accept that now. We'll either get a star through draft (highly unlikely) or through a trade (only legit way realistically)
San Antonio has better pieces and drafts and trades better than the Rockets to date plus has a much better coach. They don't end up winning the West out of luck year after year

With the current makeup of the Rockets unless they get a legit star they aren't a playoff team or if they get lucky it's one and done. That's no longer acceptable for any real Rocket fan

Top 5 of next year is gonna be pretty good and you never know who's gonna play well during this season the knock on this draft is that is very shallow outside of the top 5 or so the other players look like role players at best. You never know with harden it's silly to say he isn't going anywhere a year before he will even make a decision. Did you think lebron was gonna go to Miami with Bosh a year before his contract came up???

I agree with Cooper. I have to add that the idea that Rocket fans can judge whether the organizaton is making acceptable or unacceptable moves/transactions is abit of a stretch. We are fans and we get to watch, that's about it. Anyroad, Cooper is right about it being way too far out to say if the Rockets can improve through the draft. There are so many outcomes that could occur like the packaging picks to move up, acquiring more picks or something that hasn't even happened. Also no one knows what will happen with Harden, all we can do is speculate.

who would you pick sir charles? I heard something 'far out' saying they had the best chance at big dwight if they wanted to package harden or ibaka.

It's tough to tell if they are going to be good right now. Who had heard of Lillard this time last year. I agree right now it doesn't look spectacular but who knows what it is going to look like in 9 months.

I think they will keep ibaka for 10-12mill per year nd trade harden for lottery pick or another young cheaper good player. But who knows maybe thy are content paying the lux tax.

I've said it in another thread. I think they'll sign Ibaka and trade Harden for a more offensive center. They already have two great scorers, and Sefolosha is more suitable for OKC needs at defense. I see them trading Perkins, and Harden for a respectable center (none comes to mind right now) and some depth on the bench, maybe a lottery pick as well. But if they don't get that center, they'll probably keep both Ibaka and Harden, also Perkins....no way they are landing Dwight, they have too much money on Westbrook and Durant, and they are trying to keep Ibaka or Harden, or both....it's impossible.

I would keep ibaka for sure. Perkins will be fine, he was injured the entire playoffs. When he is healthy he is a great deender. Westbrook, Durant and ibaka can contribute enough offense for Perkins to just focus on defense.

The Finals were the best example of what I'm saying....if OKC had a decent offensive center, they would have punished Miami for playing Bosh at the C, or Haslem....
