In 2013 the new CBA Lux Tax rules take effect and it will be very painful for a team to go over the Lux Tax,which will be @ $70mil.
If they sign just Ibaka,to say a $9mil deal,OKC will have some $56mil committed to just 5 players. That is going to be a very thin bench.
If,on other hand, the team signs Harden to a friendly $12mil deal, they can afford to trade Westbrook as Harden runs the offense very well.
With Durrant and Harden,OKC doesn't need to get a star back, they can afford to take back 2-3 good role players, maybe a good prospect.

In 2013 they will be Restricted FAs unless they sign an extension or get traded.

Sure, Harden can flat out score, but they also have 2 other flat out scorers in KD and Westbrook.
Harden is also going to be demanding a bigger role soon as a starter probably, and i think another team will give him a chance.
SGs that can do what Harden does can be easily found in the NBA- maybe not so easy, but you are more likely to find another Harden than someone who plays like Ibaka. A shot blocking, rebounding PF- who can play both forward and center, doesn't need the ball in his hands a lot and can hit most shots inside the 3-pt line.
However if anyone can work miracles, its their gm. And OKC are not going to win a championship this year and probably not next either. There is only so far a jump shooting team an go

They play different positions and Westbrook is a better player

Although I dont think one game is enough sample size to say he's a great shooter or anything, the fact that the ball was being deferred to him and he was making it happen shows a lot. Hopefully you're right though that they won't be able to afford him, although considering the defensive talents alone I think they do whatever they need to to keep him around. After watching last nights game, Ibaka looks like a player wanting to improve all aspects of his game. If he can continue shooting as well as he did then he will want money than OKC will be willing to dish out. He would essentially become a smaller version of Dwight Howard who can actually shoot.
