Should the Rockets trade Martin? The best answer is no. Why?
Martin is still the best offensive player on this team
He can get easy points without dominating the ball and can score in bunches
Also, we wont get adequate return if we trade him. Look what we gave up to get him, and look at his value when we tried to get Pau Gasol.
Don't get too high on C. Lee, but he is not a good as Martin. Sure, he is better defensively, but he rarely creates his own shot.
If both players remain with us, then our sg position is set, which means we have to worry about other positions

His contract and injury issues are reasons enough to get rid of him. If he could be dependable enough to play 90%+ of the games a season, or hell even 80% and keep his stats in line with two seasons ago, then ok, but he hasn't shown that he can do that.

trade the bum. martin can still be a good player, just not with us. stick a fork in him,he's done. right now I am more interested in what we can get for him.
you can only warn a man that the bridge is out.....if he keeps driving he's on his own
