Marc Stein brings in an Eastern Conference scout to give an impression of Dwight's beginnings in H-Town, as well as the Rockets as a whole. I think the scout makes some great points about the Rockets, especially in the first paragraph.
"I see it as real positive for them. I don't get the negativity about this team. I think they're capable of beating anyone in a series. They are also capable of losing to any team. It's all over the map because they play only one way. Their way."
The scout goes on to write at length about Houston's identity, which is something the writer suggests many other teams don't have. Houston's threes, shots at the rim, and free throws have impressed people whose job is to scout teams. Pretty good sign!
