Highlights from his debut:
Had some great passes tonight as well. I think having Adelman as coach is the best thing that could have happened to him. Remember that Adelman handled Jason Williams during his rookie year.

I'll admit, I'm pretty surprised so far by how he's looked. I was one of those who thought he wouldn't be able to cut it in the NBA with his slow release and lack of athleticism. The Wolves are becoming one of my must-watch teams.

I watched the Heat game last night. Rubio was ridiculous, definitely on his way to becoming a top point guard. They blew the game but he was poised, making reads and had some ridiculous passes. Had this one-handed alleyoop pass to Williams.

I've never seen someone throw lobs with one hand the way he's been doing, effortlessly. Absolutely ridiculous.

Well, that's it for this year. Sad to see Rubio go down like that. Hopefully he makes a full recovery. He's not a guy who relies much on quickness (comparatively speaking), but I'd hate to see a bright young career hampered before it really even began.
FWIW:
1. I'm shocked he's as good as he was. I didn't think he would really be much in the NBA given his poor performance last year and his strange shooting release.
2. I saw a video of Hollinger online arguing that x number of pg's were better than Rubio (it was a huge number) on the basis of avery low PER. (I'm too lazy to look it up right now.) Watching Rubio, I have to disagree with this heartily. His teams seem to play better when he makes flashy plays...there's a human element in there which isn't being accounted for in the numbers.
