Whoa. Just saw all the comments. The Lin injury comment was completely a joke. The door was open and I walked through. 
To be clear: I love Lin and lean toward his side in the Lin v. Beverly debate. 
Did I know that joke would drive Lin fans up the wall? Maybe. Relax.

I know it is a joke, just did not find it funny, but a good write up overall.
I apologize that my 1st reply in this thread, it caused misunderstandings I guess :rolleyes: .

Calm down, man. I surely am just a Lin fan, but I am not a Rox hater. And I was not defending him, I just feel weired because that joke, that's all. The most improtant thing is, I am not angry at all. You seems more angry for sure. Just relax....I know it was a joke.

I regularly bash him, but I don't have anything against the man personally. I don't like him as a player......nothing more nothing less. every member here is entitled to an opinion whether you or I agree with it or not. the bad thing is I hate to see every thread spiral into a J-Lin debate. the Rockets have much more to discuss than the state of Lin. I am a Rockets fan I hope you are too, but if not your opinion is still welcomed just don't get uptight at the mere mention of his name or you will spend a great amount of time disappointed in what you read. Jeby does a fine job compiling information for us. even when he says something I don't agree with I don't get weird feelings :lol: I understand he has an opinion too. so can we at least hold down the negative comments in the daily thread please. it's hard to please all the people all the time

Nah...you don have to please me. I am not angry at all. I do not know why you think I am. I was a ROX fan during 90s. There is nothing wrong that a joke is not funny to some people. I think it is really a weird joke, I mean what is the funny part there, he got injured was funny?? or his annual injuries is funny?? Besides that, it is a good article to read. I was not disapointted at all, except that joke. You obviously are very sensitive on what LOF have to say and it is ok. I do not think my comments were negative. I agree that Jeby did a fine job. There are Lin bashers and defenders, I don see any problems that every thread spiral into a Lin debate as long as everyone speaks logically and without personal attack. And in fact, there was no debate in this thread about Lin at all, so...I don get why you say that? or do you want a debate?? kind of confusing..

I love good debate. anytime you wish we can discuss Lin in one of the Lin threads. no we didn't debate Lin directly in this thread, but we did have a conversation about how sensitive some of his advocates are. that's how the spiral usually starts......however enough of that as in that's going nowhere

Curry is talented, but if he shoots 75% he was suppose to win. if our defense was so weak it allowed him to do that we will have failed to play to our capabilities. against the GSW I don't think that will be a problem being as they consider themselves our new rivals now.............as for Canaan......don't be surprised if this kid find playing time......he has talent

It all down to Rox's perimeter D.......Curry is one of the kind. For someone who shoots off the dribble so well, sometimes there is nothing you can do on D about it. But....a sweep is quite possible indeed.
