@  majik19 : (13 October 2015 - 09:09 PM) Apparently we claimed Arsalan Kazemi off waivers from the Hawks today... yet another undersized (6'7") power forward for Morey's cupboard.
@  Mario Peña : (10 October 2015 - 01:12 PM) If your part if the Red94 Fantasy Basketball League check the thread to vote for the date and time for the draft event. Thanks y'all!
@  jorgeaam : (07 October 2015 - 08:47 PM) Guys we need 1 more owner for the Red94 fantasy league, if interested please comment on the post in the fantasy basketball thread
@  slick shoes : (07 October 2015 - 06:50 PM) Kobe ranked one spot higher than Ariza? Is this based on legacy or...??
@  slick shoes : (07 October 2015 - 04:13 PM) It was hard to keep up with both the Astros and Rockets at the same time. Should be interesting on Thursday with the Texans and Astros on simultaneously.
@  Mario Peña : (07 October 2015 - 04:09 PM) It was fun to have the Rockets on last night! Right now I'm watching the Celtics versus Milan and Alessandro Gentile is impressive.
@  jorgeaam : (06 October 2015 - 07:47 PM) Well, thinking twice about it, I'd rather have him score less and have the team as a whole do better. Lawson should take a lot of his load off
@  jorgeaam : (06 October 2015 - 07:47 PM) Loving that, hope he hits 30 PPG this year
@  thejohnnygold : (06 October 2015 - 06:15 PM) Someone is feeling confident :) : LINK
@  jorgeaam : (06 October 2015 - 05:54 PM) 10 Teams done, will need 2 more
@  Mario Peña : (06 October 2015 - 02:35 PM) Alright guys, if anyone is interested in joining the Red94 fantasy basketball league we could use one more player to get us to 10 teams (or three to get us to 12 teams). Just check the thread in the Fantasy Basketball forum. Thanks!
@  thejohnnygold : (05 October 2015 - 06:23 PM) I use leaguepass here in Austin with no problems...
@  skip 2 my lou : (05 October 2015 - 03:14 PM) Hey fellas, I'm a rocket fan but I live in the heart of Dallas. Does anybody know if I buy NBA Leaguepass if it's too close to be subject to blackouts?
@  Losthief : (02 October 2015 - 02:24 AM) tks jg
@  thejohnnygold : (29 September 2015 - 05:16 AM) FYI, it was media day today. Interviews are up at NBA.com
@  slick shoes : (23 September 2015 - 06:37 PM) kind of late in the day but NBATV is broadcasting classis Rockets games all day today.
@  SadLakerFan : (16 September 2015 - 04:37 AM) Man, as a Laker fan, I'm learning how little you care about the off season when your team sucks. Anyway, a quick moment to remember Moses. Still remember watching the 81 team as a kid - losing record, NBA Finals. I would have cried w/joy if they could have beaten the Celtics.
@  jorgeaam : (15 September 2015 - 08:30 PM) http://bleacherrepor...ist-after-crash
@  jorgeaam : (15 September 2015 - 08:30 PM) So to celebrate his new contract, Montrezl Harrell saved someone's life on monday
@  thejohnnygold : (14 September 2015 - 04:36 PM) A good article from Blinebury talking about when Hakeem and Moses used to play in the park. LINK

Depends on howard...he did take the magic with nelson/hedo (simliar to lin/parsons anyone?) to the finals in the east...i think we could win a series if howard returns to health/form/motivation...but thats another debate.

as to who the ideal fit would be at lin's salary (8 mil a year) is george hill imo. But alas, indy ain't gonna give him up.

p.s. if you were to go the mario chalmers route (shooter, defense, no running the team etc etc) avery bradley is who i would get. He fits the mario bill on offense, but is a game-changer defensively. By the way we had Mario Chalmers-ish clone last year in Douglas:

    http://espn.go.com/n.../mario-chalmers

    http://espn.go.com/n...8/toney-douglas

same body type/size, same offense style, same defense style (imo), except toney was a slightly better rebounder and scorer per 48 min, while chalmers was a slightly better assist man. And Toney lost out to Lin already.

George Hill can't shoot and Lin can do a lot more than them

Douglas is a little shorter and just not as good.per 48 is meaningless when you play no where near 48min. Bradley wouldn't be bad, he does play good defense but he can't shoot or really do much at all on offense still wouldn't complain if we had him obvioulsly. As far as Dwight alone leading first round it is possible but assuming we aren't playing one of the bottom two seeds I wouldn't be confident in their chances. For sure okc and the spurs would be too much and GS/Memphis is better unless parsons/Lin were lighting it up which is unlikely considering Allen/Conley or iggy/Barnes would be guarding them which are pretty solid defensively and Memphis overall defenses is quite impressive.

We would kill GS and beat Memphis. Please explain how GS challenges us? The only teams I say we should worry is the spurs and Thunder. Clippers play no defense and have no good bigs besides Blake even though he's overrated.

When were we discussing matchups without Harden? Anyway Curry and Bogut are both much more likely to be out than Harden and if Lin goes Linsanity along with our other guys making up the points and Parsons being so CLUTCH we will be fine.

This whole conversation is stemming from someone saying we would be screwed if we traded Lin and harden got hurt my point was we would be screwed either way. And there's very little chance Lin parsons and Howard beat GS or Memphis in a 7 game series.

George hill can shoot just fine.

http://espn.go.com/n...438/george-hill (44 from field, 37 from 3pt, and 82 from Free throw) all superior to Lin's. (A 'shooter' like delfino shot 40 from field, 37.5 from 3pt, and 86 from Free throw, kind of similar eh?).

He's a better defender right now than Lin too. Also, he's good in the pick and roll i believe (though not as good as Lin). He also scored more points, turned it over about half as much, rebounded more all in similar minutes. Lin is a better passer and assist man, though I think george is better with his handles and wasn't asked to do much passing (assists) in Indy's offense besides dump it into west/hibbert or let George intiate the pick and roll. But that's kind of the point getting rid of Lin for somebody to fit next to Harden.

To be fair though, George Hill is 2 years older than Lin, and has a lower ceiling in my opinion, i just think he fits the team better at that price range in this moment in time.

Avery Bradley actually shoots 33.5 percent from 3 for his career, and shot 40 percent two years ago. but here's his monthly splits: http://espn.go.com/n...0/avery-bradley

so he had 2 bad months, and 4 33-35 percent months. Not too shabby (not great, but not horrible), and for the defensive pay-off really good. And that boston offense was stagnant and horrible as hell...just sayin. He has potential to be a viable 3pt threat, and could go back to two years ago numbers too possibly, but i'd take his defensive and 35ish percent 3pt shooting all day.
