@  thejohnnygold : (29 September 2015 - 05:16 AM) FYI, it was media day today. Interviews are up at NBA.com
@  slick shoes : (23 September 2015 - 06:37 PM) kind of late in the day but NBATV is broadcasting classis Rockets games all day today.
@  SadLakerFan : (16 September 2015 - 04:37 AM) Man, as a Laker fan, I'm learning how little you care about the off season when your team sucks. Anyway, a quick moment to remember Moses. Still remember watching the 81 team as a kid - losing record, NBA Finals. I would have cried w/joy if they could have beaten the Celtics.
@  jorgeaam : (15 September 2015 - 08:30 PM) http://bleacherrepor...ist-after-crash
@  jorgeaam : (15 September 2015 - 08:30 PM) So to celebrate his new contract, Montrezl Harrell saved someone's life on monday
@  thejohnnygold : (14 September 2015 - 04:36 PM) A good article from Blinebury talking about when Hakeem and Moses used to play in the park. LINK
@  rockets best... : (14 September 2015 - 02:29 AM) I agree totally. I got to watch his Rocket days and the man was a hell of a player. BIG MO R.I.P.
@  Mario Peña : (13 September 2015 - 05:24 PM) Sad to see Moses pass. I don't remember watching him as a Rocket but I do remember his Philly and Hawks teams. He was the perfect man to mentor Dream. It's a very sad day for his family and friends and there are many.
@  majik19 : (12 September 2015 - 09:01 PM) i just saw a post wishing Yao Ming a happy 35th birthday... am I the only one whose mind is blown that he's only 35?
@  cointurtlemoose : (08 September 2015 - 01:17 AM) aaaah, thanks jorge
@  jorgeaam : (08 September 2015 - 12:21 AM) Love it how Hinkie and Morey always target the same players, but hoping he isn't another Covington
@  thejohnnygold : (08 September 2015 - 12:03 AM) Christian Wood has signed with Philly
@  jorgeaam : (07 September 2015 - 10:32 PM) If I'm not wrong, he hasn't been waived yet, they have until october 4th to do that
@  cointurtlemoose : (07 September 2015 - 05:39 PM) Anyone else surprised that Kostas hasn't gotten picked up by anyone yet? I wanna see that guy play somewhere
@  redfaithful : (05 September 2015 - 10:48 PM) Llull line from today loss to Serbia: 30MIN 1-10PG, 0-5 3PG, 4-4FT 6AST, 1TO, 4REB, +/- -11

even basketball legends sooner or later become mortal. timmy is a legend no doubt, but he can't play forever

You must not win often when you place bets if you're still trying to take the age approach on Timmy. As long as they manage his minutes, he can play elite for at least 2 more years.

that's matter of opinion so it's useless to debate it

..."as much as I would like to see Motiejunas or Terrence Jones develop at the 4 this season, I wouldn't mind seeing Aldridge in a Rockets' uniform."
Can't stop laughing about this quote from the article

        Welcome to Red94 Rocketsbias!

I could not disagree with you more on your comment about Camby and Asik. You must be one of these 25 year old or something guys that just looks at statistics. You have to put that kind of stuff into real world scenarios, these players do not exist in a vacuum. Camby was probably starting off his NBA career when you were in elementary school sir, do you understand what that means?

These two players are in some ways very different. Asik wasn't even 10 years old when Camby started playing in the NBA. Camby knows all kinds of things about current NBA players tendencies(in both conferences), current coaches and their strategies and traveling tips which are probably underestimated by the average NBA fan. As far as Asik well last year he proved he could anchor a team for an entire season which is something Camby could not do any more at this stage of his career. Camby could give you a run of a month or two but perhaps not much more. These two players are unlike each other in many ways.

Camby is like a cheaper, skinnier Asik. I think it's safe to trade him now

while I like Camby he is not even close to Asik at this point in his career. he is capable of giving a team 15 good minutes off the bench, but Asik is a proven capable starter. considering the role that we need from a backup center.....Camby is capable of filling that which in a sense does make Asik expendable. regardless of if you believe he should be moved or not you have to realize his potential to this team if kept. I believe the Rockets will move him.....that's what the Camby signing was about. true he is excellent for mentoring our young bigs, but he is still very good for 15 minutes a night as well. I think the Rockets are really mentoring D-Mo for the center position and if he pans out Camby won't see much time on the floor

Trust me Camby is insurance and a big man veteran and mentor. If you played him 15 minutes a night, you are asking for an injury for both him and Dwight. Plus who is going to replace that defense Asik provides and I'm sorry we have enough stretch 4s.

I agree on Camby, but not for the same reasons. Camby is insurance if D-Mo is unable to step into the backup center roll. as for who will provide the defense Asik use to..........I think there's a guy we brought in from LA who can handle it.
