He's a C but but not a very strong one, he will struggle over here imo, I wouldn't get too excited about him.

Here is my original response to those articles from page 3 of this thread:
"I am aware of this. You may recall the long discussion about Dennis Rodman we had a while back where this came up. Unfortunately for you, this does nothing to support your notion as the article is talking about players exaggerating their heights, not diminishing them. Got anything else?"
Not much else to say....

He is a rebounder. Averages 6 rebounds in 16 minutes.

I'm not really sure how to say this without a pause, but defensively he lets his man establish deep position in the post too easily. Pause.

That comes from not being coached well enough. That can be taught. Now if he is willing to learn is another, but at least the hussle/want too is already there in his rebounding.

I have not read all of the posts. The Rockets biggest need under there current roster is to add a stretch 4. Someone who can guard a four D but who can stretch the floor on O. Someone like Ryan Anderson or Kevin Love. I do think that they have a young guy who can do this on the roster but he is not ready, Terrence Jones.
While I do think Lin did not play well against OKC. I think Beverly was over-hyped after Westbrook's injury. Lin I believe has a bigger upside than Beverly. Ask the Rockets GM. Parsons gives us alot of flexibility at the four.
If the Rockets do get Howard. I think they will try to keep Asik for a year as a backup. This would allow the Rockets to always have a rim defender on the floor. Adding a defensive stopper would be nice. Someone who could cover the 2 or 3. I am also concerned about Delfino's foot. He may be done. They will need some offense coming off the bench.
1 Lin
2 Harden
3 Parsons
4 Anderson - NO Pelicans-Will have to get him in some kind of trade. I do not think they can get Love right now.
5 Howard - I think the Rockets have a good shot to make this happen. I am trusting Morey on this. I have my own doubts about Howard.
1 Beverly
2
3 Delfino
4 Jones
5 Asik

Okay so I did the math and it looks like several players will need to go if we want to make room for Dwight (his first year will be 20.5 million). After getting rid of the non-guaranteed contracts not named Beverley, and trading away Thomas Robinson, here is what we have:

Okay so I did the math and it looks like several players will need to go if we want to make room for Dwight (his first year will be 20.5 million). After getting rid of the non-guaranteed contracts not named Beverley, and trading away Thomas Robinson, here is what we have:
8,374,646 Omer Asik
8,374,646 Jeremy Lin
13,668,750 James Harden
1,719,480 Royce White
1,551,840 Terrence Jones
1,422,720 Donatas Motiejunas
926,500 Chandler Parsons
788,872 Patrick Beverley
Total: 36,827,454
If you add Dwight's 20.5 million to the total it comes to 57,327,454. Next's year's cap is expected to be set at 58 million. Hopefully we can convince the team that takes Thomas Robinson to take Royce White too, that way we can keep Greg Smith who some of us are quite fond of (I'm guessing Larry Coon included Greg Smith in his calculations too).
If anyone wants to double check these numbers go ahead.
The problem with your math is you don't have the space holders. Each empty spot in the roster counts the league minimum towards the salary cap. Gotta have a league minimum 12 players so you have to add 4 league min salaries.

I knew I was missing something. Thanks.
