@  SadLakerFan : (16 September 2015 - 04:37 AM) Man, as a Laker fan, I'm learning how little you care about the off season when your team sucks. Anyway, a quick moment to remember Moses. Still remember watching the 81 team as a kid - losing record, NBA Finals. I would have cried w/joy if they could have beaten the Celtics.

@  thejohnnygold : (14 September 2015 - 04:36 PM) A good article from Blinebury talking about when Hakeem and Moses used to play in the park. LINK
@  rockets best... : (14 September 2015 - 02:29 AM) I agree totally. I got to watch his Rocket days and the man was a hell of a player. BIG MO R.I.P.
@  Mario Peña : (13 September 2015 - 05:24 PM) Sad to see Moses pass. I don't remember watching him as a Rocket but I do remember his Philly and Hawks teams. He was the perfect man to mentor Dream. It's a very sad day for his family and friends and there are many.
@  majik19 : (12 September 2015 - 09:01 PM) i just saw a post wishing Yao Ming a happy 35th birthday... am I the only one whose mind is blown that he's only 35?

Clearly, the Heat don't have a huge matchup advantage over the Spurs when you start looking at all the matchups on the floor, especially in crunch time.

I would expect that Spoelstra will play Battier more minutes as the series goes along and Battier will have to hit some timely 3 point shots for the Heat. Mike Miller may be seeing less time going forward, too. He was pretty much ineffective tonight.

Well, it took all the wey to Game 7, but did Battier step it up tonight or what? I'm happy for Shane, the dude deserves another ring! The 2013 NBA Finals is one for the ages, what a great series from start to finish!

Did you watch the boring games 2-5? When half of the games are unwatchable in the fourth quarter, it is not one of the greatest series in any lifetime. So game 1,6,&7 where great, 57% of the games were TERRIBLE. Can't make up for that.

But the blowout games from a strategic perspective is pretty awesome too, this series there was basically no two game where either team's rotation was the same, it's pretty insane, Miller started, Ginobelli started, Haslem / Anderson suddenly not play.. etc.. the coaching adjustment both sides was making was amazing.

The first NBA Finals I ever watched was the 1968 Celtics-Lakers. The first basketball game I ever watched (other than the local high school jerkoffs) was the Game of the Century, UH-UCLA in the Astrodome (January 1968). I have played my own share of basketball since then but more importantly have been an avid fan of the NBA. When I mention that I believe the Heat-Spurs 2013 NBA Finals will be one for the ages, it is because in the context of all the great Finals matchups over the years, Spurs-Heat 2013 will always be remembered as one of the best ever.
