The Red94 Week In Review

The Rockets’ first win this week was versus Dallas where they fought out a tough victory away from home. Here CP manages to penetrate and then pass out midair to a wide open PJ Tucker. Point god.

The next day, the Houston Rockets basically destroyed the Charlotte Hornets without looking back. Here, Harden throws a beautiful pin-point pass to Austin Rivers who shoots it from deep.

The downside of the week however was against the Golden State Warriors, where the Rockets lost a tough one against the world champions. On this first play, CP again penetrates and passes out here to a red-hot Eric Gordon. On the second play Iman Shumpert shows some of his defensive upside when he picks off a Golden State pass and takes it to the House (pun unfortunately intended).

Last but not least, the Rockets beat the Phoenix Suns on Friday night with help from the young and exciting Danuel House who hit the game winner for the home-town squad.

Final thoughts: The playoffs will be full of “House” puns and it will be exhausting to listen to after literally the first game. Excited he’s back.

P.S. Pretty sure Gerald Green is about to drop a song.

Throwback: The Rockets media team is producing a documentary on the 22 game winning streak. Here’s a throwback to one of the best moments from that streak. Steve Novak wins it on a game winner versus the Kings at home.
