  • Rahat Huq says 6 months ago It's interesting that he always plays his best games on the big stage.
  • RocketMan says 6 months ago One thing Parsons is not lacking would be confidence. You never hear him complain about how hard it is to guard someone or make excuses. He is a very confident guy and I can see him becoming the "big shot" guy late in games. Most people would pick Harden for that, but the way Parsons was jacking up shots against NY, you could see some real fire. I would run plays for him late in a game without a doubt.
  • Rahat Huq says 6 months ago I think that's a very good comparison. (Also speaks volumes considering Deng was the #7 overall pick in the draft.) But I do think Deng is slightly better off the dribble at creating. Chandler can't really create at all unless its off a kickout.
  • Sir Thursday says 6 months ago Projecting Chandler's future is always an interesting one. As I mentioned in my preview of the Bulls game, I see Parsons' long term career trajectory being similar to Luol Deng. They are already players with similar skill sets, but I see Deng as just being that little bit more consistent at the moment. Deng is a generally efficient player who is playing in a system that forces him to do things that aren't really his game in the absence of Rose (he's not terrible from the mid-range, but it's definitely not his strength). Hopefully as Parsons matures he'll be able to continue in a system that emphasizes his strengths.
