In this week’s episode, I talked with MK Bower about the team’s plan to start Dwight Howard and Omer Asik together on Monday night, Omri Casspi, and the team’s power forward rotation heading into the season. As always, you can subscribe to The Red94 Podcast on itunes. My apologies for the technical difficulties from last week – those have been resolved.

again........loved the discussion. I am kinda torn on the Asik subject and both you and MK bring to light some of the questions that must be answered in the Asiksituation. I agree with MK in that I like Barnes, but I'm unsure if he can help us because he doesn't really bring what we most need on the team............we would be depending on Bogut to stay healthy in that scenario and I'm not convinced he can do that. My problem with a R-Anderson trade is not so much what we are getting......I like Anderson as a player and believe he can be productive with us. my problem is I'm uncomfortable allowing the Pelicans to get Asik. paired with Davis they could become a dangerous duo when combined with the available wings on that team. I agree with MK in that..........I don't think bosh is the right player for us to acquire. IMO we must not only pay attention to what we get in trade for Asik if we elect to move him, but we must also pay attention to where he is sent. we don't want to create problems for ourselves down the line by allowing him to fall into the wrong hands. my hope is he will work out and moving him will be unnecessary, however I have my doubts that will be the case says
