Washington Wizards at Houston Rockets – 8:30 CST

Please post all Wizards-Rockets related discussion here.  I’m trying to figure out how I want to do things next year when the Houston Rockets figure to be in contention.  We could create a game thread designated for each game, then I could update the morning after with my recaps.  Not sure.  In any event, I’ll just have to use these last 10 games to figure it all out.

As always, all suggestions and concerns are appreciated.

it's just hard not to get excited, bob. after so many years where the likes of Rod Strickland and Derek Andersen rounded out our bench, it almost feels odd having young talent over whom to get excited.

My headline for this game would have to be Rockets Rooks Rock! Bud was great on both ends of the court, and JT and Hill had their moments. I saw lots of reasons to feel good about our talent level going into next year. With the summer to get more coaching and work on weaknesses, these guys are all going to contribute a lot in the near future. (I sincerely hope that Ariza is included in the coaching this summer, he is behind schedule in my book even though he has improved in the last month. Hope that he doesn't feel above needing to improve because he already has a good contract.)
