@  cointurtlemoose : (31 January 2015 - 02:58 AM) Well, the first half of the game looked really good...
@  08huangj : (30 January 2015 - 12:21 PM) Dwight Howard could be out for an extended period of time
@  jorgeaam : (30 January 2015 - 12:44 AM) No Demarcus Cousins or Damian Lillard in the All-Star game, by the way
@  jorgeaam : (30 January 2015 - 12:40 AM) In the non-surprising new of the day, James Harden was selected as an All-Star reserve
@  Alituro : (29 January 2015 - 04:49 PM) If you look in the corners and behind the basket... where the regular ticket buyers sit, it tells a different story.
@  Alituro : (29 January 2015 - 04:48 PM) Our home crowd appearance is misleading as the seats along the sides that you see on TV are corporate seats and usually spoken for each game but the patrons spend their time in the lounges and restaurants
@  Alituro : (29 January 2015 - 04:45 PM) Our crowd certainly came alive when it came time to Ice Chandler's Flagrant FTs
@  Matt Maloney... : (29 January 2015 - 04:44 PM) Congrats to Josh Smith for having a ONE good night on the offensive end. His D and rebounding is always good, don't tell me you don't cringe when he takes a jumper at the top of the key when you have a MVP out there
@  Matt Maloney... : (29 January 2015 - 04:42 PM) If you have league pass, even the Knicks have a better home crowd
@  Matt Maloney... : (29 January 2015 - 04:40 PM) For those of us who no longer live in Houston, lives in LA, and pays the high prices at the Staples Center to watch the Rockets play, and you see the support the Lakers get, yeah I think I have a point
@  rocketrick : (29 January 2015 - 01:41 PM) Same dude also complaining about Josh Smith jump shots. Yesterday evening at the game over at Toyota Center (it's Downtown, let me know if anyone needs directions on how to get there) I saw solid evidence of the 2011 Josh Smith.
@  rocketrick : (29 January 2015 - 01:35 PM) I don't understand people on this site complaining about the Rockets home crowd while the complainers clearly are not buying tickets and going to the game.
@  Losthief : (29 January 2015 - 07:29 AM) tjones looked really good tonight...and bigger/stronger in the upper body which should help on d!
@  Matt Maloney... : (29 January 2015 - 02:09 AM) Rondo has a ghost defender on him most of the time.
@  Matt Maloney... : (29 January 2015 - 01:17 AM) Another crappy home crowd...
@  08huangj : (28 January 2015 - 11:47 AM) Why are there no more previews on this website?
@  Matt Maloney... : (26 January 2015 - 05:00 AM) THEY KNOW HE WILL MISS*
@  Matt Maloney... : (26 January 2015 - 04:59 AM) Our opponents have running start when Josh Smith shoots a jumper. After miss seems to turn into a fast break. THEY HE WILL MISS!
@  Mario Peña : (26 January 2015 - 04:39 AM) These fourth quarter runs (and late third quarter ones too) that the Rockets give up are getting me worried. A bad development since the end of December that I've been noticing.
@  cointurtlemoose : (24 January 2015 - 05:29 AM) 2) At least Klay waited a game before he turned into a human fireball...

I certainly hope Harden and co. are showing him all the best parts of Houston this weekend....maybe even do a little house shopping down in Sugarland.

I didn't want Dwight during the offseason, I even preferred to land Bynum (terribly wrong idea), but I've come to accept the idea of landing him. Also, johnnygold has made pretty cool arguments about our offensive approach having this "twin towers" remake. So....let's root for Harden to convince him :D

Absurd JG, everyone knows you don't live in Sugar Land if you plan on driving to the Toyota Center often :P Might as well live in Dallas (i.e., the Woodlands).

D12 could do River Oaks, but that's too old money for him. He's hip and young -- West U is where it's at :P As long as it isn't the Mosaic (silly Lin...)

I live in Montgomery, and I'm at TC for most home games this year. I work just north of the loop, too.

The Royalton at 3333 Allen Pkwy, just outside River Oaks is the place to be. Had a friend that lived there and upon visiting him (this was several years back) I've run into Bobby Sura, and Seth Payne. T-mac and Deke also lived there. Sweet locale, easy to the TC, easy to the Galleria and easy to the clubs. The windows in the units facing downtown are 14' high and 50' long, looking out is pretty sweet, storms rolling in, and traffic copters whirling round..

 that's a good one. I for one would love to see this happen. I believe howard will return to the D-12 monster of old next year. if that happen while with the rockets we could be talking contender talk next year. aquiring howard without having to give away any of our top assets could be considered nothing short of cornering the market. we would be in great shape cap wise, have a budding young contending team and have our stars locked up for 4+ years. that sounds pretty good to me.

Yeah, the beauty of all this is I won't really mind if he decides not to come. I like our team without him and think we will still be able to contend in the near future. Right now it's win-win!!!

true I still like our team without him, but that's the fast track to a championship. that would give us 2 of the top 15 players in the league. we could make some serious noise. also with morey able to keep the pick of the litter and trade away the remaining assets for pieces to fit around hardin and howard........ we would be in the drivers seat.

No joke. If D12 doesn't come, we're still okay, but if he does o.O We would only lose Delfino, Douglas and Aldrich from the current roster. We would keep White, Jones, and DMo, along w/ our starting 5, and Morris, PBev and Anderson. Is it just me or is that not awesome? lol I rarely see a team that is a championship contender AND has a young group of assets they could be developing for a trade/future growth (OKC doesn't count since the reason they were a contender and their young assets were one and the same lol).

Assuming we make the playoffs we won't have a pick in this year's draft (barring a trade). I am ok with that as we have plenty of young talent to develop. Anderson has potential to become our J.R. Smith. D-Mo is on schedule. Who knows where we'll be with Royce???? Greg Smith will probably get a crash course in defense this off-season. If...IF all of this happens we will have a solid roster top to bottom. I know our PG position is in question, but they are both so young....I like the potential of both Lin and Beverley to mature into that position....they don't need to be great...just good.

Also even without our first morey has had succes in the second round and les doesn't mind buying an extra one from other teams.

don't forget t jones....he has been lighting up the d-league. as for as I can see the addition of howard would make d-mo, t jones, m morris, p pat, asik and g smith the players we get to choose from when I say pick of the litter. we can keep the best of them only trading the ones who are unable to fit what we need. my favorite 3 are d-mo, t jones and asik. I would like to keep them. the others would bring a nice package of draft picks or pieces to put around howard and hardin. that is the perfect plan for the rockets (IMO)

Outskirts. Off Keenan Cutoff if you know the area.
