@  jorgeaam : (31 August 2015 - 10:45 PM) The Los Angeles Rockets, lol
@  redfaithful : (31 August 2015 - 09:51 PM) Seems that Chuck is also on his way to the Clippers.
@  slick shoes : (24 August 2015 - 06:14 PM) ill just leave this here...
@  slick shoes : (24 August 2015 - 06:14 PM) http://www.timeandda...04&font=cursive
@  timetodienow... : (21 August 2015 - 07:20 PM) At least in my opinion.
@  timetodienow... : (21 August 2015 - 07:20 PM) I love having Terry. But the main factor was that New Orleans will NOT compete for a championship this year and the Rockets will.
@  jorgeaam : (21 August 2015 - 03:57 AM) Things that make me like the JET even more
@  jorgeaam : (21 August 2015 - 03:57 AM) Jason Terry said that he turned down a more lucrative deal from New Orleans in order to return to Houston.
@  clydesmoustache : (19 August 2015 - 08:32 AM) A year ago who would have thought I would be so happy to have Jason Terry on my team. Welcome back JET! Hurry up October!
@  cointurtlemoose : (19 August 2015 - 04:45 AM) Terry I love yooouuuuuuuuu
@  jorgeaam : (19 August 2015 - 02:38 AM) Yay Terry is back!
@  majik19 : (15 August 2015 - 09:33 PM) and i thought these shouts were limited to some number of characters!
@  thejohnnygold : (15 August 2015 - 02:23 PM) Ha, sorry for the wall of text...
@  thejohnnygold : (15 August 2015 - 02:22 PM) I am very surprised at how many people are interested in a below-the-rim, mid-range-chucking power forward who only grabbed double-digit rebounds 12 times last season (out of 82 games)and would require us to give up personnel that is likely better than he is for our team since D-Mo does everything he can, but better. I seriously doubt Markieff is coming here to play 15 mpg and giving up Jones (plus more players to match salaries) would go down in history as Morey's worst move as a GM. Unless you think Phoenix waits until the trade deadline to move him we only have D-Mo, Jones, Dekker, Capela and Harrell to work with. It would take 4 of those guys because we are over the cap. No way Morey does that deal--not for Morris. Let him go somewhere else and cool his jets a bit...then maybe he can come here as a bench role player down the road. $8M and a roster spot is not a good deal when the player doesn't fit your scheme. He'd be better in Chicago playing Boozer's former role.
@  Dan G : (15 August 2015 - 08:59 AM) I'd give up Jones personally. Even if somehow Jones finally gets his stuff together, then we will have to pay him. Markieff has always been the better player out of the Morris twins, he wants to come here, and he his on a very friendly contract like jorgeaam alluded to.
@  jorgeaam : (14 August 2015 - 11:47 PM) Looks like Markieff is good friends with Harden too (according to Rotoworld, he chose Rockets or Raptors because he's also friends with Lowry). So I wouldn't be too concerned with his attitude either.
@  jorgeaam : (14 August 2015 - 08:39 PM) I think that might be over scalated by the media (same with Josh Smith), from what I've read, they attacked a guy who had some problems with their mom or something like that. Forgot to mention he's on a great deal too (3 years @ 8 million per)
@  cointurtlemoose : (14 August 2015 - 06:21 PM) On the court, Morris would be great. I just don't want any of that bad attitude and hot-headed-ness that he's displayed over the last 6 months (don't forget about the assault)
@  jorgeaam : (14 August 2015 - 04:43 PM) Well, the Suns are in the same position the Nuggets were with Lawson, they need to deal Morris and won't get lots in return. I like him very much as a 6th man, he can shoot the 3 and play both forward spots.
@  slick shoes : (14 August 2015 - 03:59 PM) @JG my sentiments exactly. word on the street is boston and toronto want him. have fun with that, champ.

I certainly hope Harden and co. are showing him all the best parts of Houston this weekend....maybe even do a little house shopping down in Sugarland.

I didn't want Dwight during the offseason, I even preferred to land Bynum (terribly wrong idea), but I've come to accept the idea of landing him. Also, johnnygold has made pretty cool arguments about our offensive approach having this "twin towers" remake. So....let's root for Harden to convince him :D

Absurd JG, everyone knows you don't live in Sugar Land if you plan on driving to the Toyota Center often :P Might as well live in Dallas (i.e., the Woodlands).

D12 could do River Oaks, but that's too old money for him. He's hip and young -- West U is where it's at :P As long as it isn't the Mosaic (silly Lin...)

I live in Montgomery, and I'm at TC for most home games this year. I work just north of the loop, too.

The Royalton at 3333 Allen Pkwy, just outside River Oaks is the place to be. Had a friend that lived there and upon visiting him (this was several years back) I've run into Bobby Sura, and Seth Payne. T-mac and Deke also lived there. Sweet locale, easy to the TC, easy to the Galleria and easy to the clubs. The windows in the units facing downtown are 14' high and 50' long, looking out is pretty sweet, storms rolling in, and traffic copters whirling round..

 that's a good one. I for one would love to see this happen. I believe howard will return to the D-12 monster of old next year. if that happen while with the rockets we could be talking contender talk next year. aquiring howard without having to give away any of our top assets could be considered nothing short of cornering the market. we would be in great shape cap wise, have a budding young contending team and have our stars locked up for 4+ years. that sounds pretty good to me.

Yeah, the beauty of all this is I won't really mind if he decides not to come. I like our team without him and think we will still be able to contend in the near future. Right now it's win-win!!!

true I still like our team without him, but that's the fast track to a championship. that would give us 2 of the top 15 players in the league. we could make some serious noise. also with morey able to keep the pick of the litter and trade away the remaining assets for pieces to fit around hardin and howard........ we would be in the drivers seat.

No joke. If D12 doesn't come, we're still okay, but if he does o.O We would only lose Delfino, Douglas and Aldrich from the current roster. We would keep White, Jones, and DMo, along w/ our starting 5, and Morris, PBev and Anderson. Is it just me or is that not awesome? lol I rarely see a team that is a championship contender AND has a young group of assets they could be developing for a trade/future growth (OKC doesn't count since the reason they were a contender and their young assets were one and the same lol).

Assuming we make the playoffs we won't have a pick in this year's draft (barring a trade). I am ok with that as we have plenty of young talent to develop. Anderson has potential to become our J.R. Smith. D-Mo is on schedule. Who knows where we'll be with Royce???? Greg Smith will probably get a crash course in defense this off-season. If...IF all of this happens we will have a solid roster top to bottom. I know our PG position is in question, but they are both so young....I like the potential of both Lin and Beverley to mature into that position....they don't need to be great...just good.

don't forget t jones....he has been lighting up the d-league. as for as I can see the addition of howard would make d-mo, t jones, m morris, p pat, asik and g smith the players we get to choose from when I say pick of the litter. we can keep the best of them only trading the ones who are unable to fit what we need. my favorite 3 are d-mo, t jones and asik. I would like to keep them. the others would bring a nice package of draft picks or pieces to put around howard and hardin. that is the perfect plan for the rockets (IMO)

Outskirts. Off Keenan Cutoff if you know the area.
