@  bboley24 : (20 May 2013 - 09:35 PM) TWill...  stay classy.
@  bboley24 : (20 May 2013 - 03:04 PM) b.) No one has mentioned the hoopsworld rumor that DH is intrigued with the possibility of yours truely
@  bboley24 : (20 May 2013 - 03:04 PM) a.) Royce has screwed up any chance of someone with pyschological disorders to get signed.  So much for being a Pioneer
@  2016Champions : (20 May 2013 - 11:12 AM) The question remains, how do you rank them? By "who dominated their era more" or do you use the "time machine" argument?
@  2016Champions : (20 May 2013 - 11:10 AM) That's pretty much what pioneer means.
@  rocketrick : (20 May 2013 - 07:44 AM) If it weren't for the "pioneers", the NBA wouldn't be what it is today. Royce White will probably make more money in his limited "career" than some of the big name players from past eras who made the game what it is today.
@  2016Champions : (20 May 2013 - 02:45 AM) How do you rank someone like that?
@  2016Champions : (20 May 2013 - 02:44 AM) I mean, Bill Russell is the GOAT if you're talking about who dominated his era the most, but in today's game he might just be a rich man's Ben Wallace.
@  2016Champions : (20 May 2013 - 02:42 AM) I think pioneers should be on a completely different list all together, but that's probably just me.
@  rocketrick : (19 May 2013 - 11:46 PM) Although most on this forum never saw them play, I think it's difficult at best to keep Bob Cousy and Oscar Robertson off this list.
@  timetodienow... : (19 May 2013 - 10:59 PM) Top 5 point guards of all time 1)Magic, 2)Stockton, 3)Nash, 4)Thomas, 5)Kidd IMO
@  Richards : (19 May 2013 - 10:39 PM) Hate to see a player like him going out now. Time has come for sure though.
@  2016Champions : (19 May 2013 - 06:23 PM) Time to retire. Do you think he could become a coach one day?
@  Richards : (19 May 2013 - 03:27 PM) Jason Kidd 10 straight games, and total of 25 games for this season with zero points.
@  feelingsuper... : (18 May 2013 - 01:01 AM) I had no problem this evening.
@  thejohnnygold : (17 May 2013 - 11:20 PM) it's working for me
@  2016Champions : (17 May 2013 - 10:20 PM) Does anyone else have trouble accessing page 4 of the James Harden thread?
@  Sir Thursday : (16 May 2013 - 04:10 PM) @BenQueens: Probability of that happening is 4.5%. Still, didn't cost them in the end...
@  BenQueens : (16 May 2013 - 04:30 AM) Randolph 1/4FT in the last minute. Career 76.5% - Wow.
@  BenQueens : (16 May 2013 - 04:20 AM) Bad time for the Thunder to lose track of Tony Allen.

I certainly hope Harden and co. are showing him all the best parts of Houston this weekend....maybe even do a little house shopping down in Sugarland.

I didn't want Dwight during the offseason, I even preferred to land Bynum (terribly wrong idea), but I've come to accept the idea of landing him. Also, johnnygold has made pretty cool arguments about our offensive approach having this "twin towers" remake. So....let's root for Harden to convince him :D

Absurd JG, everyone knows you don't live in Sugar Land if you plan on driving to the Toyota Center often :P Might as well live in Dallas (i.e., the Woodlands).

D12 could do River Oaks, but that's too old money for him. He's hip and young -- West U is where it's at :P As long as it isn't the Mosaic (silly Lin...)

I live in Montgomery, and I'm at TC for most home games this year. I work just north of the loop, too.

The Royalton at 3333 Allen Pkwy, just outside River Oaks is the place to be. Had a friend that lived there and upon visiting him (this was several years back) I've run into Bobby Sura, and Seth Payne. T-mac and Deke also lived there. Sweet locale, easy to the TC, easy to the Galleria and easy to the clubs. The windows in the units facing downtown are 14' high and 50' long, looking out is pretty sweet, storms rolling in, and traffic copters whirling round..

 that's a good one. I for one would love to see this happen. I believe howard will return to the D-12 monster of old next year. if that happen while with the rockets we could be talking contender talk next year. aquiring howard without having to give away any of our top assets could be considered nothing short of cornering the market. we would be in great shape cap wise, have a budding young contending team and have our stars locked up for 4+ years. that sounds pretty good to me.

Yeah, the beauty of all this is I won't really mind if he decides not to come. I like our team without him and think we will still be able to contend in the near future. Right now it's win-win!!!

true I still like our team without him, but that's the fast track to a championship. that would give us 2 of the top 15 players in the league. we could make some serious noise. also with morey able to keep the pick of the litter and trade away the remaining assets for pieces to fit around hardin and howard........ we would be in the drivers seat.

No joke. If D12 doesn't come, we're still okay, but if he does o.O We would only lose Delfino, Douglas and Aldrich from the current roster. We would keep White, Jones, and DMo, along w/ our starting 5, and Morris, PBev and Anderson. Is it just me or is that not awesome? lol I rarely see a team that is a championship contender AND has a young group of assets they could be developing for a trade/future growth (OKC doesn't count since the reason they were a contender and their young assets were one and the same lol).

Assuming we make the playoffs we won't have a pick in this year's draft (barring a trade). I am ok with that as we have plenty of young talent to develop. Anderson has potential to become our J.R. Smith. D-Mo is on schedule. Who knows where we'll be with Royce???? Greg Smith will probably get a crash course in defense this off-season. If...IF all of this happens we will have a solid roster top to bottom. I know our PG position is in question, but they are both so young....I like the potential of both Lin and Beverley to mature into that position....they don't need to be great...just good.

Also even without our first morey has had succes in the second round and les doesn't mind buying an extra one from other teams.

don't forget t jones....he has been lighting up the d-league. as for as I can see the addition of howard would make d-mo, t jones, m morris, p pat, asik and g smith the players we get to choose from when I say pick of the litter. we can keep the best of them only trading the ones who are unable to fit what we need. my favorite 3 are d-mo, t jones and asik. I would like to keep them. the others would bring a nice package of draft picks or pieces to put around howard and hardin. that is the perfect plan for the rockets (IMO)

Outskirts. Off Keenan Cutoff if you know the area.
