@  thejohnnygold : (17 July 2017 - 09:22 PM) Anyone got about $2.5B lying around... ^_^
@  slick shoes : (17 July 2017 - 07:39 PM) Les is selling the team?!?! After all this talk about wanting to play a certain way??? Yikes...
@  slick shoes : (07 July 2017 - 06:57 PM) We've got some cuts to make today before all of these "trade-able contracts" become guaranteed.
@  thejohnnygold : (05 July 2017 - 05:41 PM) Well, this is just glorious. It's a look at the Eastern Conference vs. the Western Conference :)
@  08huangj : (01 July 2017 - 03:56 AM) YEA! We resigned Nene for less than 4 million a year.
@  DenverRocket : (01 July 2017 - 03:44 AM) Wow, the West is getting crazy good. PG13 to OKC now!
@  slick shoes : (29 June 2017 - 07:55 PM) We just gained another trade piece from Dallas.
@  thejohnnygold : (28 June 2017 - 10:52 PM) Yup. Better not get attached to anyone not named Harden...
@  rocketrick : (28 June 2017 - 09:16 PM) Summer League will be more important than ever for the Rockets now that they have to replace like half their roster!
@  rocketrick : (28 June 2017 - 04:23 PM) Let's Welcome Chris Paul to H-town!!
@  slick shoes : (21 June 2017 - 04:28 PM) Morey is locked in for four more years. Glad to have some stability at the helm after everything we've seen the last couple of weeks.
@  slick shoes : (16 June 2017 - 04:31 PM) It's a shame we don't have a first rounder this year. I did notice that the W's and the Cavs have 0 picks this year (not that they need them).
@  thejohnnygold : (16 June 2017 - 03:57 PM) Whoever picks him is going to be a happy camper
@  slick shoes : (16 June 2017 - 02:00 PM) De'Aaron Fox giving Bev a shout at the end of this piece

@  slick shoes : (22 May 2017 - 05:25 PM) I can't decide if I want them to draft Ball or not.
@  thejohnnygold : (21 May 2017 - 02:50 PM) Don't worry...they'll find a way to screw it up.
@  slick shoes : (17 May 2017 - 03:52 PM) Is anyone else annoyed that the league reached out and helped the Lakers secure a top 3 pick to keep them from long term ruin?
@  Mario Peña : (13 May 2017 - 11:56 AM) It would appear James will take games off next year which is probably a good thing. Perhaps we will see some evolution from emphasis on regular season to being playoff ready both from a physical as well as a strategy standpoint.
@  rocketrick : (12 May 2017 - 05:26 AM) I personally will be rooting for the Spurs in their next matchup with Golden State in the Western Conference Finals
@  rocketrick : (12 May 2017 - 05:26 AM) Congratulations to the Spurs and Coach Pop. They completely destroyed the Rockets last night (understatement of the year)

This game will be won or lost from beyond the arc... If the shots don't drop, we had better get the long rebounds.

God this team gets even worse. Please fire McFail and hire a legit coach or fire Morey as well. Because of us the Lakers are going to get into playoffs and same ole same ole Rockets will be one of the best worst NBA teams.

An I still the line person who isn't buying the GM and HC love?

First time poster but a long time lurker on red94.

I have a few points that I would like to make about this team. I have watched most of the rockets games this season, so here are my observations.

Is it me or is Harden Iso game a little like what Melo was a few years ago when he didn't trust anyone but himself? Most nights he will get his 20 points and be pretty efficient and look good, but however who ever he is guarding that player roams around and has a great shooting night. Mayo has torched him twice, tonight with george, pierce, crawford etc. He is great offensively but defensively he is a liability. So when he is struggling like he has in the past few games it just looks worse than it actually is.

In regards of McHale's rotation, I actually don't understand why Douglas doesn't get more minutes in the past few games when he actually haven't done anything to lose his minutes in the rotation. As long as he is not the primary ball handler he can get a few minutes at the 2 spot now when we have beverley.

Mchale is also mismanaging Lin, sometimes when he has a good shooting night and just starting to heat up, he takes him out, and other nights when he is cold he gives him more minutes. Last night he had the hot hand and Harden was god awful he continued to hand the ball to Harden. Tonight lin was 4-6 and 2-2 beyond the arc, he sits Lin for 15 minutes and Harden who struggled basically rested for about 50 sec in the second half. Harden has earned his right to play through his struggles but sometimes you have to give the pg duties to your actually point guard especailly when harden is avg 5 TO the last 5 games.

1 more last point, some turnovers by our backcourt are caused by Asik's poor hands, I believe that will be rectified in the future.

I have a lot more observations but this will do for now
