@  majik19 : (02 July 2015 - 02:40 PM) also, just wanted to point out this insanity: With Draymond Green's reported signing, Steph Curry becomes the 6th-highest paid Warriors player (Thompson, Lee, Bogut, Iguodala, Green)
@  majik19 : (02 July 2015 - 02:40 PM) Contracts are going to rise proportionally. They'll have to readjust the MLE and biannual with the next negotiation, and max contracts may require adjustment as well. But basically, the MLE is ~5 mil with a ~60 mil cap, so expect it to be ~8.3 mil with a 100 mil cap. Max players will easily make 30 mil+ per year.
@  jorgeaam : (02 July 2015 - 04:50 AM) Well, Asik just signed a 5 year $58 million contract with the Pelicans, makes me wonder how much the contracts are going to rise with the new cap
@  rockets best... : (02 July 2015 - 03:05 AM) Llull not coming is good news to me
@  cointurtlemoose : (02 July 2015 - 01:33 AM) Welp... There is some consolation for us from Llull not coming, and that is that the Mavs are kind of imploding so far in free agency
@  majik19 : (01 July 2015 - 09:48 PM) the MLE isn't as valuable this year, unfortunately, because of the rising cap. With the deals being handed out, surprised Beverly hasn't gotten an offer yet...
@  Fury : (01 July 2015 - 09:29 PM) Keep in mind, the MLE is still in play if it isn't used on Llull.
@  txtdo1411 : (01 July 2015 - 09:21 PM) last year* not next year
@  txtdo1411 : (01 July 2015 - 09:21 PM) Darn Darn Darn. I didn't have huge hopes for him, but he has to be an upgrade over what we finished with next year. Oh well just have to make the best of it.
@  Fury : (01 July 2015 - 09:18 PM) WOJ BOMB: Guard Sergio Llull has decided against joining the Rockets in the NBA and will stay with Real Madrid, league source tells Yahoo Sports.
@  Losthief : (01 July 2015 - 05:41 PM) U mean the whole trust parsons not to sign something, cause bev can still go do that we only offered the qualifying meaning we get a chance to match if he does (3 days).
@  txtdo1411 : (01 July 2015 - 05:41 PM) Is it possible that our division next year will be even BETTER than it was last season?! Depending on what the Mavs do, it could very well be.
@  majik19 : (01 July 2015 - 02:14 PM) At those deals, I would certainly take both. Bev will almost certainly get a higher offer that we can then match or not. Not making the Parsons mistake again.
@  Losthief : (01 July 2015 - 07:36 AM) keep there RFA status, and for bev means we can sign him w/ bird rights later. Good moves by the rockets
@  DenverRocket : (01 July 2015 - 02:52 AM) According to ESPN, Rockets offered Beverley a one-year, $2.73 million deal and McDaniels one year at $1.045 million
@  RocketMan : (26 June 2015 - 05:46 PM) I'll take them. No complaints. Dekker can score. Other guy will catch lobs all day.
@  jorgeaam : (26 June 2015 - 03:23 AM) So Dekker and Harrell were ranked 16 & 17 in Chad Ford's rankings, solid draft
@  txtdo1411 : (26 June 2015 - 03:11 AM) Nevermind. Should have known we were getting another 6-8 PF. I do like his tenacity. Versatility is definitely the theme here.
@  jorgeaam : (26 June 2015 - 03:08 AM) Called it
@  txtdo1411 : (26 June 2015 - 03:02 AM) Jo young reminds me of an Isaiah Canaan type of player with a tad bit more height. Would it be a reach at 32?

This game will be won or lost from beyond the arc... If the shots don't drop, we had better get the long rebounds.

God this team gets even worse. Please fire McFail and hire a legit coach or fire Morey as well. Because of us the Lakers are going to get into playoffs and same ole same ole Rockets will be one of the best worst NBA teams.

An I still the line person who isn't buying the GM and HC love?

First time poster but a long time lurker on red94.

I have a few points that I would like to make about this team. I have watched most of the rockets games this season, so here are my observations.

Is it me or is Harden Iso game a little like what Melo was a few years ago when he didn't trust anyone but himself? Most nights he will get his 20 points and be pretty efficient and look good, but however who ever he is guarding that player roams around and has a great shooting night. Mayo has torched him twice, tonight with george, pierce, crawford etc. He is great offensively but defensively he is a liability. So when he is struggling like he has in the past few games it just looks worse than it actually is.

In regards of McHale's rotation, I actually don't understand why Douglas doesn't get more minutes in the past few games when he actually haven't done anything to lose his minutes in the rotation. As long as he is not the primary ball handler he can get a few minutes at the 2 spot now when we have beverley.

Mchale is also mismanaging Lin, sometimes when he has a good shooting night and just starting to heat up, he takes him out, and other nights when he is cold he gives him more minutes. Last night he had the hot hand and Harden was god awful he continued to hand the ball to Harden. Tonight lin was 4-6 and 2-2 beyond the arc, he sits Lin for 15 minutes and Harden who struggled basically rested for about 50 sec in the second half. Harden has earned his right to play through his struggles but sometimes you have to give the pg duties to your actually point guard especailly when harden is avg 5 TO the last 5 games.

1 more last point, some turnovers by our backcourt are caused by Asik's poor hands, I believe that will be rectified in the future.

I have a lot more observations but this will do for now
