@  Mario Peña : (02 July 2016 - 03:12 AM) Windy is reporting Bazemore and the Hawks reached an agreement.
@  Mario Peña : (01 July 2016 - 10:45 PM) Dwight goes to Atlanta, hopefully that city and Budd work for him.
@  Mario Peña : (01 July 2016 - 10:16 PM) I'm still dreaming that Durant/Harden/Beasley are pulling a fast one on everyone and Durant is coming to Houston along with Horford and Bazemore. I know it's not going to happen but I can daydream about it.
@  majik19 : (01 July 2016 - 08:40 PM) Does the madness make our players valuable again? Before FA, no value. Now? Ariza, Beverly, Brewer, hell even KJ! 1st and 2nd round picks more valuable than ever.
@  DenverRocket : (01 July 2016 - 04:28 PM) He's apparently looking for ~20mill/yr
@  majik19 : (01 July 2016 - 03:33 PM) got a meeting with Kent Bazemore, who seems like a good fit next to Harden (but unfrotunately is going to pull something close to the max)
@  rocketrick : (01 July 2016 - 07:01 AM) Meant to say a MAX contract, not the
@  rocketrick : (01 July 2016 - 07:00 AM) Someone is going to pay Chandler Parsons the MAX contract for next 4 years. Portland offered, Parsons impressed, Parsons now headed to Memphis
@  rocketrick : (01 July 2016 - 06:27 AM) Beal is signing for $125 million over 5 years, average of $25 million per season. Harden is being paid 16.7 million and 17.8 million the next 2 seasons..........
@  rocketrick : (01 July 2016 - 06:26 AM) Capela is a huge bargain for the next 2 seasons for the Rockets!
@  rocketrick : (01 July 2016 - 06:26 AM) The Rockets also having Beverley, Brewer and McDaniels under contract for 2 more seasons at their salaries should be seen as a plus now, too!
@  rocketrick : (01 July 2016 - 06:24 AM) Ariza has just become too valuable to trade in light of the crazy numbers coming out since midnight for this year's free agent class!
@  slick shoes : (30 June 2016 - 06:19 PM) Looks like T Jones has officially been shown the door.
@  DenverRocket : (30 June 2016 - 04:56 PM) @slick No, I'm sure that has absolutely nothing to do with it ;-)
@  slick shoes : (30 June 2016 - 12:31 PM) @DenverRocket Is that because he knows the secret is out about his back and doesn't feel confident many other teams will give him a look?
@  DenverRocket : (29 June 2016 - 11:44 PM) Donatas Motiejunas, a restricted free agent, told ESPN he's willing to return to the Rockets. Houston is the first team he plans to meet with on July 1.
@  thejohnnygold : (29 June 2016 - 09:12 PM) For those interested, ESPN has a pretty good story about Hinkie and his process. Gives some insight into Houston's front office. LINK
@  rocketrick : (24 June 2016 - 05:19 AM) Rockets also signing Kyle Wiltjer, Stretch 4, played at Gonzaga and Isaiah Taylor, PG, UT
@  rocketrick : (24 June 2016 - 04:51 AM) Rockets have just signed PG Gary Payton II to a 3-year contract
@  majik19 : (24 June 2016 - 03:46 AM) not only is Onuaku a bad free throw shooter... http://espn.go.com/v...lip?id=15522771

I see this as a trap game. I could easily see Kobe going off for 50 and Nash for 30 and 20 and the Lakers turning their season around.

...well, maybe not.

But I do hope the good guys don't take this team lightly.

With McHale as coach I don't think the Rockets players will ever be allowed to take that team in purple and gold very lightly, especially with Kobe the way he is playing this year. The matchup on the wing between Bryant and Harden should be tops.

Rockets aren't good enough to take any team lightly and hopefully they feel that way as well. Would be nice to get a blow out win but wouldn't surprise me if it's closer than we like.

watching the lakers fall flat on their faces is almost as much fun as watching the rockets winning and maturing. who would have guess the rockets record of 21-14 while the lakers struggle at 15-19. if the lakers don't make the playoffs heads will roll no doubt about it. just shows why they play the games, because paper teams don't win titles.

stoked that we won! pissed the F off I still cant watch. pretty G-- D--- annoying. most exciting season in 4-5 years, it not more, and i cant watch. most of us have shared this complaint multiple times and its become tiresome to keep bringing it up.

anyway, early in the season, i complained on this forum about, "where is this run and gun, high scoring offense we've been hearing about?" but i obviously spoke too soon on that. i guess i should have given them time considering the roster moves and youth. glad to see things coming together sooner than expected!

Last night's game is making me begin to rescind my criticism of PPat's rebounding skills. He was grabbing tough boards like a man possessed last night and that's very refreshing. I know he only grabbed 4 of them, but each one took good positioning and effort, they didn't just fall into his lap. I hope he keeps the effort up. I think he may be one of those guys who thrives coming off the bench, always trying to prove he deserves to be a starter. Make him a starter though and the drive seems it can disappear.

Morris looked absolutely terrible last night. He couldn't rebound, he wasn't rotating on the pick and roll, and he kept leaving Artest open for threes. It was painful to watch early on.
