@  thejohnnygold : (21 January 2018 - 03:15 PM) That was a nice win last night. WE need to know we can beat the W's come April/May.
@  DenverRocket : (19 January 2018 - 08:46 PM) Ridiculous!! Afflalo only got 2 games for actually swinging at Bjielica.
@  Mario Peña : (18 January 2018 - 01:00 AM) I can’t believe Ariza is getting a two game suspension!
@  Mario Peña : (18 January 2018 - 12:59 AM) Yeah, I always preferred this sight not only aesthetically but most of all the community here.
@  thejohnnygold : (08 January 2018 - 02:44 PM) Meh...I never enjoyed any of the others...I'll stay here...even if it is a bit of a ghost town.
@  rocketrick : (08 January 2018 - 01:59 PM) Ok, should all of us just transition to another site about now?
@  slick shoes : (12 December 2017 - 01:21 PM) Seems like we had enough trouble sending him anywhere this past summer lol
@  redfaithful : (12 December 2017 - 01:03 PM) According to the article send Anderson somewhere without taking money back
@  slick shoes : (11 December 2017 - 09:58 PM) What do we have to give up to make it work financially though?
@  redfaithful : (11 December 2017 - 05:22 PM) Wow, this: https://www.theringe...ets-free-agency
@  DenverRocket : (10 December 2017 - 05:36 PM) Yep, did you see that 4th quarter/stretch small ball line-up that stifled the Blazers and allowed Harden and CP3 to do their thing? Awesome defense!!
@  thejohnnygold : (09 December 2017 - 03:21 AM) It makes me so happy :)
@  DenverRocket : (07 December 2017 - 09:39 PM) Don't whisper too loud, but All Of A Sudden, The Rockets Are Dominant On Defense, Too
@  slick shoes : (28 November 2017 - 07:33 PM) Looks like JB will get another swing at interim head coach. Hope things fare better for him there than here.....
@  slick shoes : (27 November 2017 - 09:39 PM) Wow! What is going on in Memphis?!
@  thejohnnygold : (23 November 2017 - 05:56 PM) Also, Chris Paul is a wizard
@  DenverRocket : (23 November 2017 - 05:15 PM) Great defense, great depth. Loving it.
@  redfaithful : (23 November 2017 - 09:19 AM) No Anderson, no Gordon, no problem demolishing the Nuggets... this team is good
@  thejohnnygold : (13 November 2017 - 11:35 PM) That's good news for us and for you!
@  slick shoes : (13 November 2017 - 08:09 PM) CP3 is rumored to be back Thursday...

In a move that could lead to the unraveling of the Lakeshow or maybe vault them into Western Conference supremacy, the Buss family will choose a coach this week.

if phil comes back he will vault them to champions. this is what real coaches are made of. while I don't like phil I can't argue with his resume. the man has had sucess with every team he has coached. it will probably take a wheel barrel full of money to get him out of retirement, but may be well worth it. the lakers only have about a 3 year window to win a championship with the present cast so why not max out your chances.

Oh please please choose D'antoni. PLEASE!! or Stan Van Gundy. If we have to hear about the Lakers all the time at least it would be dramatic with those two. No defense and a ton of hasty threes from average three point shooters. Or the fun of waiting of watching SVG and Howard stare hatefully at each other all game.

But realistically Phil comes back and coaches west coast games. And even though he's part time he gets 10 mil for the season. These are my psychic predictions, Lord ah Mercy.

He will come back, and they will likely win a ring in the next 3 years(agree with RBF that that's their window, for now). From reports I've heard Phil has expressed that he would "love" to coach DH.

There is no better coach for your team when you have superstars.

I think he comes back too. I wonder how many away games he coaches in person. I wonder if they get another assistant coach that is qualified to be a head coach that does the away games that are not on the west coast. Lots of questions.

ESPN is reporting that they're getting D'Antoni. This is sure to be entertaining! The Lakers will have a terrible defence and all of those old guys will be tired out from running by midseason. But they're going to score, and score a lot, I expect.

Right Sir Thursday and if there are any problems Lakers fans will surely be chanting for Phil Jackson. Looks like Jim Buss does not have the stomach to deal with Phil Jackson this year. Strange turn of events considering Jackson's agent was headed to Los Angeles today to meet with the Lakers' front office.
