Interesting... One way I can see this benefiting the Rockets is as long as there's no love lost in the switch, then Morey will have a comrade-in-arms in the Eastern conference. They can make trades and deals to help each other bolster their rosters without bolstering inner-conference rivals. I know, I know, it's a stretch... But, apparently Morey has the knack for rubbing front offices the wrong way, either through ridiculous offers or just through blatant pomposity in his pursuits of a star or sub-stars like Lin and Asik.. To have at least one GM on a friendly basis with Morey, couldn't hurt.
