@  Adi1008 : (12 March 2014 - 09:22 PM) The Thunder and the Clippers are the teams the Rockets will have to face before they meet up with Indy/Miami in the finals.
@  Adi1008 : (12 March 2014 - 09:21 PM) If they can't pull out a win against the Clippers, this stretch will not be nearly as worthwhile in the playoffs.
@  marvelman821 : (12 March 2014 - 05:05 PM) yes dwight struggled last night. he struggles against good defensive teams
@  08huangj : (12 March 2014 - 09:09 AM) Dwight has been struggling recently.....
@  feelingsuper... : (12 March 2014 - 04:24 AM) I totally overrated Hamilton after those first couple of games. He needs time to get settled.
@  Cooper : (12 March 2014 - 03:36 AM) Dwight struggled more than he should have against adams.
@  08huangj : (12 March 2014 - 02:48 AM) Dissapointed
@  thenit : (12 March 2014 - 02:16 AM) of late
@  thenit : (12 March 2014 - 02:16 AM) How about Hamilton? Is he back down to earth now? Has been poor late
@  adonneus : (12 March 2014 - 12:22 AM) Westbrook sure likes to call timeouts while he's already all up in Beverley's face.
@  jorgeaam : (12 March 2014 - 12:17 AM) Am I the only one thinking of how Westbrook is feeling against Bev tonight? Considering his injuries this season come from him
@  BrentYen : (11 March 2014 - 09:12 PM) They know Harden very well tho, but I still expect harden to have a good game
@  08huangj : (11 March 2014 - 09:59 AM) Tomorrow's game: Ock has given up a average of 41.5 points from the shooting guard position in the last two games.(Gerald Green and Jodie Meeks) Not to mention a 20 point game from...James Anderson!! Imagine what Harden can do......
@  08huangj : (11 March 2014 - 09:36 AM) Rockets number 1 in Stein's power rankings!
@  BrentYen : (10 March 2014 - 10:05 PM) A win is great, will be greater if we can bully them....and get a win.
@  jorgeaam : (10 March 2014 - 02:25 PM) Exactly FSS, I take the win even if they shoot 1/30 from 3 point
@  feelingsuper... : (10 March 2014 - 12:29 PM) I just want a win, I don't care about the statistics.
@  Dan G : (10 March 2014 - 08:36 AM) Agreed Opasido. And I want Westbrook to take 10 more shots than KD.
@  Opasido : (10 March 2014 - 05:23 AM) I want Dwight to get 30/15 on Steven Adams. and I want Harden to score 30+ without Sefolosha guarding him. One can dream right
@  feelingsuper... : (10 March 2014 - 02:37 AM) That is correct, both Thabo and Perkins will be out. The Thunder are suffering immensely on the defensive front.

Please stop don't mention melo, we already have one one-way superstar.

    That is a TERRIBLE trade!

I couldn't agree more, Melo is the exact opposite of the type of player we need. We need a defensive stopper who will also fit into what we're trying to do offensively.

What about going for Melo? Lin/Asik/Parsons/DMo(he can learn from Bargs).

Seriously? Why would this ever even be mentioned? Melo would cause massive log jams in our offense. Enough said.

That's almost like saying: why don't we just blow up our team and start from scratch? SMH

Jeff Green would be fine as a role player I guess. Not sure if I'd trade Asik for him or why Boston at this current stage of figuring things out should make this sort of trade. I'd guess

I've noted before, with the team like it is now, and minus Asik, the guys we should be looking for is

      A. a big that can play both 4/5 reasonably well , aka a competent 3rd big, perferably one that you wouldn't hate starting if Jones don't keep his play up and/or he or Dwight gets hurt. I think I see 3 guys out there that's probably avalible, and can fill his role reaonsably well to different degree, in order of preference I'd like Amir Johnson / Taj Gibson / Jason Thompson.

      B. a 2nd wing defender / player . Garcia has filled that role reasonably, but when Parsons and Garcia needs to fill a bigger role it becomes more evident of the lack in this area. There's a lot of guys here depending on how high or low you set your standard.

Melo is a classic chucker. He shoots a lot, but he doesn't do so at a high rate. His TS% of .525 puts him far below Harden, for comparison.

Melo's Effective Wins Added is 4.5, compared to Parson's 2.5. He just isn't enough of an upgrade for losing all of those pieces, and his offensive style really doesn't fit in the Morey philosophy.

Trade Asik. His attitude (mopping) in the locker room is not needed. Get whatever you can for him.

Well not exactly, though I think more or less the current situaion is that Asik has forced our hands and made things difficult enough in the locker room, I mean , if Asik give it his all without complaint than I like him more than most other options, but currently that's not exactly happening is it?

Trade for melo and turn around and shop him.  If that's legal.

Some team will get desprate and they will be greedy for what asik can provide. Asik is an elite rebounder and post defender you dont just replace that god forbid dwight get hurt then what put in D-MO

all that im saying is that if we dont trade him, he jets after next season.  moping or not.

understood.  just saying for all intents and purposes, his time here was over once dwight signed.  baring him pretending to be happy and playing hard AND us winning a title this season or next, then a trade is THE option and the sooner the better.
