Daily Factoid: This September, Team USA will make their trip to Istanbul for the FIBA World Championships with the hope that talent can overcome experience. The average age of Team USA after the cuts made Wednesday morning is 24.1, while the average age of Spain’s National Team (the reigning champions) is 26.0.

Daily Factoid: The ten tallest players in NBA history (ranging from 7’4 to 7’7) have played, on average, a total of eight seasons. To date, Yao Ming, the third tallest player in league history, has been in the NBA for eight seasons.

Rockets Daily – Tuesday, July 27th, 2010

Daily Factoid: During the 2005-2006 season, Brad Miller dished out 6.1 assists per 48 minutes, the highest mark among all centers in the league. To put this in perspective,  Steve Francis averaged 5.3 assists per 48 minutes during that same season.

It was in October of 2009 that I created Red94, born through a fortuitous whim.  In December, I was welcomed into the TrueHoop family.
